MIRI: Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) successfully rescued two six-month olds kittens from a ceiling of an office premise on Jalan North Yu Seng today (Feb 6).
According to the Miri APM report, the discovery was made by the office’s staff this morning , after hearing tapping sounds and kittens’ cries on the ceiling, prompting for an immediate call to APM for assistance at 10.47am.
Upon arriving at the scene, APM approached the kitten slowly to avoid causing distress and the mother cat was also found nearby the area.
Within less than 10 minutes, the team gently retrieved the kittens from the ceiling.
It is believed that the mother cat had given birth on the ceiling months ago.
