MIRI: Two ambulances from Miri Hospital were called to lend help at a traffic collision that occurred at Saberkas flyover in Miri yesterday afternoon.

In the 1pm incident, three persons were reported injured in the crash.

It was understood that one of the vehicles that was coming from town area heading towards Pujut 3 area suddenly lost control while exiting the flyover before it skidded and veered off onto the opposite lane and crashed in a moving subcompact car.

Those injured were the drivers of the two vehicles and one passenger.

The road condition was slippery, as prior to the incident there was a heavy downpour.

The car male’s driver sustained injuries on his right eye, while his female passenger and the driver of the other car sustained bodily injuries.

All of them were taken to Miri Hospital for medical treatment.

One fire engine from Lopeng Fire station was also seen arriving at the scene to clean the fuel spills due to the accident.
