KUCHING: The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) will be hosting the FAMA Fest 2024 at Bintang Megamall Miri from March 1 to 4.

Sarawak FAMA director Ramli Mat Sani stated that approximately 34 entrepreneurs are gearing up to cater to the needs of both domestic and international markets.

“The purpose of this programme is to showcase and promote the products of our entrepreneurs and cater to consumers, especially in Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, and Brunei Darussalam.

“Simultaneously, we aim to position this industry as a viable business sector, encouraging the active participation of young entrepreneurs,” he shared during a press conference today (Feb 15).

According to Ramli, in the Agro Madani sales, FAMA provides special combo deals at attractive prices for visitors.

“Consumers can enjoy purchasing items at prices lower than the retail market through FAMA’s Festival.”

He also mentioned that various entertaining programmes, such as business matching, demo Agromas FAMA product and entrepreneur product demonstrations, a children’s fashion show competition, and singing performances by local artists, would be held throughout the event.
