KUCHING: The upcoming Mini Entrepreneurs Development Programme (Mini KUD) @ Kota Samarahan aims to expose entrepreneurs to digitalisation in business.

Organised by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development it is to help them progress further.

Deputy Minister, Datuk Rubiah Wang said entrepreneurs need such knowledge to expand their business and increase their sales revenue.

“We have 67,000 entrepreneurs in Malaysia, but 80 per cent of them are under the category which generates revenue below RM60,000 per year.

Rubiah said the programme from Febr 1-4 is expected to draw about 100 entrepreneurs with sales transactions of RM300,000.

“The event will be launched by our Minister who is also Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and there will be lots of interesting programmes.
