MUKAH: The Mukah Division Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) conducted a fire-fighting demonstration at the church over the weekend.
Held at the compound of St. Peter & St. Paul Church here, the event was held in conjunction with the Firemen World Day 2017.
The event which included a fire safety briefing by a staff, Bonnie Sera, was staged after the Sunday Mass and witnessed by the church goers.
Earlier, seven Catholic firemen headed by Mukah Fire Station Officer-in Charge, Bonny Martin Saging Mato, were blessed by St Peter & St Paul Parish Rector, Rev. Fr Joseph Sebastian.
