MIRI: Frustrated by his neighbour’s children creating loud noises in the wee hours of yesterday, a man went berserk.

The 36-year-old man was allegedly scaled his neighbour’s front gate and hastily grabbed a 31-year-old male victim and dragged him outside the gate.

Prior to the incident, the suspect had shouted loudly from the outside, instructing the victim to come out.

According to Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, the incident occurred around 2am.

Following the incident, the victim has lodged a police report.

The incident happened in Vista Perdana in Permyjaya.

Acting on the report lodged, police picked up the suspect from his house that same day around 11.45am.

The suspect was brought to the Miri Central Police Station for questioning under Section 323 and Section 447 of the Penal Code.
