MIRI: Free mass rabies vaccinations programme will be held in various part of Miri starting from Feb 11 to Mar 25.
It also will run in Marudi and Subis where the dates will be announced later.
Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Lee Kim Shin urged the Miri residents to make full use of this oppurtunity as it was free of charge.
“Prevention is better than cure. It is important because rabies is a deadly disease,” he said.
The event will be held from 9am to 4pm at the Miri Civic Centre on Feb 11, Mar 4 and Mar 11; Taman Tunku (Feb 25); Permyjaya (Mar 18) as well as Desa Senadin (Mar 25).
