KUCHING: Kolej DPAH Abdillah Petra Jaya will receive a contribution of RM15,000 and a project to refurbish its facilities next year.
Assistant Minister for Early Childhood Education and Family Development, Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said that the contribution and project would be implemented next year under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP).
“I propose that the Parent- Teacher Association (PTA) of Kolej DPAH Abdillah Petra Jaya present a working paper on the proposal to me,” she said.
Hasidah was speaking at the presentation of Excellence Awards for the PT3 and SPM students in 2016 held in conjunction with the 30th Annual General Meeting of the school PTA at Dewan Bestari yesterday.
She explained that the contribution and the project were given as tokens of appreciation to the school that had always shown outstanding academic performances.
At the event, she presented excellence awards to 35 PT3 students and 25 SPM students from the school.
