KOTA SAMARAHAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has stated that there is no problem with regards to the Central Database Hub (PADU) and any matter has been dealt with well.

“Sarawak’s registrants on PADU are positive, discussions have gone well.

“There were some concerns that we received and we have dealt with the situation well. No problem with it,” he told reporters when met at the Madani Sarawak 2024 breaking of fast ceremony at Al-Muttaqin Mosque, Kota Samarahan today.

Anwar also said that there was nothing to be discussed and that all the issues related to it could be managed appropriately.

On March 21, an official memorandum was issued advising against registering on PADU due to security concerns had gone viral.

The memo advises residents in various districts and Resident’s Office staff to refrain from registering their information on PADU until further notice.

Additionally, it requested the extension of this directive to community leaders, village chiefs, and village development and security committees (JKKK) under the purview of the relevant offices.
