KUCHING: Sarawak United FC will take one game at a time this season without setting a target just yet.

Sarawak United FC head coach S. Balachandran told New Sarawak Tribune that the season has yet to start thus it will be too early to set a target.

“I have no comments at the moment regarding an aim this season as we have yet to play a game in the league and time is needed to gauge the strength of our opponents in the Malaysia M3 League.

“I do not want to put unnecessary pressure on my players yet and we will just take one game at a time and see where we go from there until the end of the season,” he said.

As revealed by its president Datuk PosaMajais a week ago, Sarawak United will not have any foreign players nor star players this season with the team focusing on utilising local players instead.

The 2023 Malaysia M3 League campaign will kick-start on March 4 with Sarawak United travelling away from home to face Harini Selangor FT at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Stadium in Serdang, Selangor at 8.45pm.
