MIRI: Only stall operators with negative Covid-19 test results may resume their businesses at the Miri Central Market when the market reopens on May 31, said the Miri City Council (MCC).

“For those who tested positive, they have to undergo quarantine in accordance with the instructions as required by the health authorities in Miri division.

“This is to safeguard their safety, the customers’ as well as the general public,” said the council in a statement issued yesterday (May 28).

The council has forwarded the list of stall operators to the health authorities and they (operators) will be notified to go for the swab test.
