More than 1,100 individuals actively seeking employment participated in interviews and explored job opportunities during the recent Projects of Dream Realised (PRO-DR) programme organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas), in collaboration with the Social Security Organisation (Perkeso) Bintulu.

The 8th edition of the PRO-DR, a joint initiative involving the Sarawak government, Tegas Community Innovative Learning (TCIL), the Sarawak Education Department, and Perkeso, aimed to equip young individuals with diverse skills across various fields for the betterment of the nation’s future.

Perkeso Bintulu manager Jimmy Hendrick Kijon shared that out of the total participants, 227 individuals successfully secured employment, while 753 others advanced to subsequent screening interviews.

He highlighted this achievement during his address at the programme held at Naim Mall Paragon. He emphasised the remarkable enthusiasm shown by job seekers to capitalise on available job openings.

He added that Perkeso consistently supports job seekers and graduates by organising interview sessions and well-structured job fairs that facilitate direct interaction between job seekers and potential employers.
“The eagerly anticipated career programme by Perkeso Bintulu serves as a valuable platform for direct interaction between job seekers and potential employers.”
