KUCHING: A factory incurred more than RM278,000 loss when the factory at Sejingkat Industrial Park, Jalan Demak near here, was destroyed in a fire on Monday.
A foreman in his police report claimed that many machines for various uses and bands were destroyed in the fire.
The cause of fire is being investigated by the Fire and Rescue Services Department.
In another factory, a 33-year-old security guard claimed in his police report yesterday morning that at about 12 am on Tuesday, he discovered a bolt hole in a fence at the rear of a factory at Sejingkat Industrial Park, Jalan Demak near here.
Upon further checking the guard discovered that two pumps and a spotlight inside the factory were missing.
