KUCHING: National diving queen Datuk Pandelela Rinong has suffered minor injuries when a toilet tank fell and shattered to pieces.
In a Facebook post this morning, she shared about the accident that happened at the Bukit Jalil Diving Dry Gym. She had escaped with some cuts on her left foot.
“What a morning that I will always remember. Thankfully, I survived with only minor cuts. Don’t know (should I ) to laugh or to cry,” the Olympic medallist wrote.
Pandelela told New Sarawak Tribune that the toilet’s tank fell and shattered over a squatting toilet when she flushed it.
“Yes, I was there to attend a training session,” she said when contacted.
“It (toilet water tank) suddenly dropped when I wanted to flush it.
“I am alright but it gave me a shock this morning,” she said.
