KUCHING: Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) Sarawak will continue to support the Ummah Unification agenda and the one-on-one agenda in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15).
Its Information chief Syamsul Bahrie Mohamad said this agenda is important in strengthening Malaysia’s political landscape to stabilise the country in all aspects of the economy and others
“This can be achieved with intact political stability. PAS’s principle is to try to unite Malay political parties before GE15 through any method as long as it does not conflict with Islamic Sharia and party policy,” he said in a press statement yesterday.
He said the unification of this ummah would be based on three main principles that had been outlined by PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang in his speech.
“The principles are fair to all, one Malaysian Family and Islam Leads (Islam Memimpin). The implementation of these policies is important in rebuilding a prosperous Malaysia. Islam Unites the ummah,” he said.
