AUCKLAND: The Civil Aviation Authority in New Zealand has mandated their airlines to weigh passengers departing on international flights from Auckland International Airport, starting from May 31 to July 2.

The passenger weight survey is conducted as a means to gather data on weight distribution and load calculations for aircraft.

To protect passenger privacy, all collected data is confidential and anonymous.
