The upgrading work to the clinic commenced on Feb 8 and was completed ahead of schedule on July 12. The RM343,533 project was scheduled to be completed on Aug 7.

With the completion of the clinic, senior citizens and patients diagnosed with NCD now feel more comfortable as far as queuing is concerned.

It is learnt that the idea to set up the clinic was mooted about three years ago following suggestions by various parties including patients and a former divisional health officer.
