PDP Youth has lodged a police report Bozz Jebat.

KUCHING: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Youth has lodged a police report against former Umno man Zool Amali Hussin, popularly known by his online pen name Bozz Jebat, for allegedly insulting Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, in his latest vlog.

PDP Youth chief David Yeo said the video had also insulted their party president Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, who is also the Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.

He said the remarks made by the individual in the video were deemed highly offensive, with a clear intention to incite racial discord and tarnish the reputations of both the Premier and Tiong.

Sarawak, Yeo  said, under the leadership of Abang Johari, had been recognised as a high-income state by the World Bank while Tiong contributed tremendously in making Malaysia as a major destination for foreign tourists in ASEAN.

“The statement by Bozz Jebat is definitely damaging the reputation of our Sarawak leaders, thus, the police report is intended to prompt authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and take decisive action against the irresponsible individual,,” he said in a statement yesterday.

Yeo said that the people of Sarawak had expressed their outrage over the irresponsible behaviour of Bozz Jebat.

“He should be clear about the importance of maintaining the harmony of Malaysian society that embraces tolerance towards all races and cultures,” the PDP Youth chief added.

In the expletive filled blog, Bozz Jebat ridiculed and insulted Abang Johari for appointing Tiong as the Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, who was in the centre of a row over the demotion of Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board (Tourism Malaysia) director-general Datuk Ammar Abd Ghapar.
