MIRI: Some 56 fishermen from the Piasau constituency can look forward to better days at work after receiving fishing equipment on Wednesday from the Sarawak government.

The aid, worthRM2,000, was distributed via the Fishermen’s Fishing Equipment Input Assistant (BIPPN).

Besides receiving fish nets, the recipients were also given cool boxes and life jackets.

Incumbent for Piasau Datuk Sebastian Ting Chiew Yew presented the fishing equipment at the Malaysian Fisheries Development Authority Miri office in Piasau here.
