MUKAH: A prayer vigil for the late Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Haji Satem will be held here this evening (Friday). The event known as `Majlis Bacaan Yasin dan Tahlil and Candlelight Tribute for the late ‘Tok Nan’ will be held at the Mukah Youth Activity Centre (MYAC).
To mark the first anniversary of his untimely departure, the event is jointly organised by Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation and the Non-Governmental Youth related organisations of Mukah Division.
And for the non-Muslims, a special corner for lighting up candles at the old MDDM (Dalat/ Mukah District Council (MDDM) building. People from all walks of life are urged to come in full force to the event in remembrance of the passing of a great leader.
