KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg continued his Aidilfitri visits on the ninth day of Syawal at the residence of former Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datin Patinggi Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu at Santubong here on Thursday (Apr 18).
Abang Johari was accompanied by his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, arriving at Jamilah’s residence at around 8.30pm.
Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah and State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki were also present during the visitation.
Tagging along with the group were Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, and Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan.
During the visit, the Premier signed a memento in the form of a book and enjoyed various traditional Hari Raya dishes.
Earlier in the day, Abang Johari had visited the Hari Raya Open House hosted by Deputy Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
