MUKAH: The Mukah Division Football Association (MuFA) has achieved success that one can be proud of after successfully organised the Under-20 (U20) SSC-FAS Football tournament, the Setia Raja Cup tournament, Veteran including tournaments that also involved secondary and primary school students throughout 2022.

MuFA president Khairul Anuar Adeni, during the MuFA dinner held at a leading restaurant here last Monday night, said that another good news he received was that MuFA will prepare a football team to face Kuching City FC when they visit for a friendly match at the end of January.

“MuFA has also prepared to organise the Mukah Division President’s Cup this year which involves teams from Balingian, Mukah, Dalat, Oya, Matu, Daro, Belawai up to Tanjung Manis,” he added.

He also revealed that the Class D Coaching Licence Course and Referee Course organised by MuFA in collaboration with the Referee Club are also in the planning.

“In addition, MuFA received good news that the application to improve the facilities of the Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) football field has been approved by Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine in the RTP project with a cost of RM200,000.

“In the meantime, MuFA once again hopes that all parties in the Mukah Division will continue to cooperate so that it lasts and we will continue to try to find more sponsorships from the relevant parties to help improve the quality of our football in the Mukah Division.” he explained further.
