KUCHING: Rabies awareness and prevention talks were held at Tabuan Jaya’s TJ Delight Coffee Shop, Batu Kawa Chamber of Commerce and Matang Jaya Mosque yesterday and on Saturday.

Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Youth Chief, Tan Kai said the talks were organised by the Ministry of Health and the State Veterinary Department.

The talks aimed to educate the people on prevention and what to do in the case of dog bites, said Tan Kai.

He added the talks informed the public about rabies.
