MURUM: Twenty thousand ringgit have been allocated to the Borneo Evangelical Mission (BEM) Uma Juman BRS Apo Koyan Church to help it prepare for the hosting of the Annual Worship of the Belaga District BEM, scheduled from March 29 to 31.
Murum assemblyman Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, who made the contribution, also allocated RM20,000 to the Roman Catholic (RC) St. Joseph Lepo’s Badeng BRS Apau Koyan Church for the organisation of the 2024 Parish Easter Celebration, which will take place at the church from March 28 to 31.
Chukpai’s representative, Amit, officially handed over the funds at the BEM Uma Juman BRS Apo Koyan Church recently.
The Easter 2024 celebration is expected to draw Christian believers from across the Belaga District and Murum.
In light of this, Kennedy calls upon all Christian believers there to join the celebration.
