ASAJAYA: The federal Ministry of Local Government Development has approved around RM13.2mil for the construction of Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) stations and quarters in Sarawak.

The allocation will be used to build a new Bomba station in Sungai Asap, as well as quarters in Tatau and Daro stations.

According to minister Nga Kor Ming, these projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2025, and the construction is estimated to take around 18 months.
