KUCHING: Robakyah Ramli can look forward to a joyful Ramadan and Aidilfitri, now that her house at Kampung Sungai Midin is undergoing repairs.

According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit report, the house would be repaired using funds from Samariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali’s Rural Transformation Project (RTP), and work is expected to be completed by the end of April.

“The allocation given is RM27,000 and work has started since March.

“I hope that when this project is completed, it will give Robakyah and her family comfort,” Sharifah Hasidah said when she visited the house on Sunday (April 10).

She also handed over donations to village folk in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.
