MIRI: Burglars broke into a house at Pujut area here and carted away electrical appliances worth about RM4,000.
The break-in was only discovered by the house owner around 2pm on Friday when he arrived home.
A checked made on a closed circuit camera installed at the house showed two men entering the house in broad daylight at 2pm on Thursday.
The house owner later lodged a police report on the break-in at Miri Central police station.
Among the items carted away were two flat screen television sets, a Karaoke set, a disc player and a briefcase containing vital documents.
It is believed that the burglars have gained entry into the house from the kitchen’s door.
