SARATOK: An allocation of RM80,000 has been approved for the building of the roof of the sepak takraw court at Kampung Melango Lama Hilir here.
This was announced by the Kalaka State Assemblyman, Datuk Abdul Wahab Aziz during the Aidilfitri gathering organised by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of the village.
In his speech, Wahab urged JKKKs to play a more productive role at the village and longhouse levels to monitor the problems faced by residents.
“If the villages and longhouse are constantly developing and changing with time, it shows that the JKKKs are active,” he said.
