RMC welcomes physician to enhance services

SIBU: Rejang Medical Centre (RMC) has added a valuable asset to its team with the arrival of Dr. Chao Khai Fatt, a highly skilled physician.

Dr. John Tang Ing Ching, the managing director of RMC, said that it is not only positive news for RMC but also for the people in Sibu.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Dr. Chao’s clinic at RMC today (June 10), Dr. Tang highlighted the pressing need for more doctors to address the unmet healthcare needs in the central of Sarawak. He stressed that Dr. Chao’s clinic would be a valuable addition to the services already provided by RMC.

Despite his youthful and attractive appearance, Dr. Chao possesses extensive experience, having worked as a practicing clinician for over 12 years. For the past four years, he has specialised in internal medicine at Sibu General Hospital.

His qualifications include membership in the Royal College of Physicians in the UK, an adjunct lecturer position at the Clinical School of Segi University, and a diploma in Echocardiography from the University of Vienna.

Meanwhile Dr. Chao, who is originally from Kuala Lumpur, expressed his gratitude to RMC for the warm welcome and the chance to serve the local community.

The ceremony was attended by general manager Anne Lau and Matron Mary Sia.
