RTP projects progress as scheduled

MIRI: A total 54 rural transformation projects (RTPs) have been implemented for Sibuti electorate.

It’s MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni said the RTPs are progressing smoothly when met after visiting four longhouses within Sepupok, Niah area yesterday.

The longhouses he visited were Rumah Aron, Rumah Jelenggai, Rumah Malina and Rumah Enju.

“The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg has always been committed to bringing development to the rakyat,” he said.

During his visit to the longhouses, Lukanisman spent time getting to know the villagers through a “meet-the-people” session.

He also listened to their views on how to better improve infrastructure development within their respective areas.

“Gabungan Party Sarawak (GPS) will always strive for the betterment of the people,” he said.
