KUCHING: The long-awaited Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak (MRCS) Kuching Branch ‘Run to Save Lives 3.0’ project will be held on June 18.

According to its deputy chairman Dr Chou Chii Ming, the fun run this year will have two routes (3km and 5km) starting and ending at the Kuching South City Council (MBKS) foyer.

“This run aims to raise funds to support humanity works that are consistently carried out by our society.

“The three core services supported by the fundraising are to conduct first aid training courses with examinations for industries and giving first aid and ambulance services to the community; blood donation recruitment services; and natural disaster relief services.

“With the continuous and strong support of the communities in Kuching, we are able to carry out all these Red Crescent movements extensively. We sincerely thank everyone for the success,” he said.

Dr Chou said this during a press conference on the run at the MRCS Kuching Branch building at Jalan Reservoir today.
