Sarawak business delegation calls on counterpart in Perth

PERTH: Datuk Tan Jit Kee, the president of Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS), paid a courtesy call on the Australia Malaysia Business Chamber Western Australia (AMBCWA) recently.

Tan was accompanied by Kuching Chinese General Chambers of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI) vice-president Kuek Eng Mong, secretary-general Datuk Jonathan Chai Voon Tok and Digital Economy chairman Rodger Chan Siong Boh.

The delegation was welcomed by AMBCWA president Keith Anthonisz and vice-president Bernard Chia.

AMBCWA supports partnering and investment, networking in promoting trade and provides links among business community and government to improve relations and to develop new market opportunities to further enhance their respective economies.

Tan touched on the Sarawak economy, investment opportunities and KCGCCI’s 133rd anniversary to members of AMBCWA and on the organisation. He also gave an introduction of KCGCCI and ACCCIS.

Among those present during the networking session was Ahmad Fikri Zakian, Consul-General of Malaysia, who is also one of the speakers.

The KCGCCI thereafter extended an invitation to members of AMBCWA to attend its anniversary dinner, Young Entrepreneurs Committee 10th anniversary, 77th annual general meeting of ACCCIM, and 12th Young Entrepreneurs Conference of ACCCIM, to be held in Kuching from July 6-8.
