KUCHING: Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) is currently searching for the next-of-kin of a patient named Choo Kueh Choi.
In a statement, the hospital said the patient does not have any identification and was referred from Serian Hospital to SGH for further treatment. It is understood that Choo hails from Kampung Pichin, Serian, and lives alone.
“The parents of the patient have passed away. Based on the information obtained, the patient has three siblings; all of them have identity cards.
“Each sibling has started their own family and resides in Lundu, Sarikei, and Singapore.
“The patient has not been in contact with his siblings for a long time. Therefore, he does not have any family phone numbers to reach out to,” the statement said today.
Following this, SGH urged the next-of-kin or family members of the individual to contact Aime Yusup, Medical Social Work Officer, at 082-276666 ext 4338 during office hours or Dr. Mark at 017-3066537 promptly.
