KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg’s aspiration in leading Sarawak towards development and progress through political stability based on a united society has enabled the people of Sarawak to live comfortably and enjoy various initiatives.

In saying this, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the people of Sarawak thus have a more secure future in terms of socioeconomic circumstances.

“I pray that Datuk Patinggi will continue to be granted with good health and a long life to continue to lead Sarawak towards greater excellence,” she said in her birthday message to the chief minister, who turned 71 today (Aug 4).

“His initiative in introducing digital transformation since the beginning of his appointment as chief minister of Sarawak in 2017 has made Sarawak one of the earliest states to cultivate its people in line with the digital economy revolution, which is much needed today,” the Batang Sadong MP said.
