MAKKAH: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) is partnering with international news agencies to provide news coverage on haj season to wider audience worldwide in 15 languages.

Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) is one of four partners, while the other three are from Indonesia, Pakistan and Egypt.

The partnership, the first of its kind, aims to expand the scope of publishing through their official websites and their media network and digital platforms.

According to SPA, through this partnership media messages will be conveyed and new languages will be used in the media content delivered to the audience.

The partnership will be an addition to the news coverage provided by SPA throughout the haj season every year, it added.

The partnership also adds a new experience to international news agencies with regard to the content and message through their cooperation with SPA, which has a long experience in print, visual and audio media.
