KUCHING: SJK Chung Hua No 5, Kuching has successfully organised a Mini Exhibition on “Love Our Parents” from 28th July until 1st August 2018 at the school hall. The objective of this activity was to teach the pupils to love, respect and appreciate their parents.
It also engaged students on meaningful collaborative learning, develop students’ critical thinking and problem solving. This activity involved all the students from Year 1 to Year 6, whereby they contributed their products in terms of posters, craftwork and innovation creation with the theme “Love Our Parents”.
There was a cake decoration “Love Our Parents” for the pupils together with their parents on 28th July 2018. This pupils -centred activities was to engage pupils to work as a team, instil their confidence and personal development.
Chin Mui Ling, the headmistress, would like to express her sincere thanks to the Chia Yi Trading Sdn Bhd for sponsoring the prizes, Taiwan Cake House and Katharine Voon, officers from District Education Office Kuching, parents, teachers and students for making this exhibition a success.
