KUCHING: Batu Kawa assemblyman Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang  yesterday morning presented allocations to several schools in the Batu Kawa and Batu Kitang constituencies.

Dr Sim said these allocations were special fundings for school facilities even though the federal government was in charge of schools in the state.

“The Sarawak government will continue to assist and share the wealth of the five percent from the service tax of exported Sarawak oil and gas for the benefit of Sarawakians, especially in human resources development. This is how the Sarawak government takes care of its own people,” he said.
