SIMUNJAN: Sebuyau now has its first petrol station through a collaboration between the Malaysian Fish Development Board, Sebuyau Fishermen’s Association, and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS).

According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), Malaysian Fisheries Development Board director Rashima Baharuddin said it aimed to ease the hardship of Sebuyau residents who need petrol supplies in their daily affairs.

“This mobile refuelling service (ROVR) station will operate from 8 am to 5 pm every day,” she said at the opening ceremony of the Sebuyau District Petrol Station yesterday.

She added it also gave many people the opportunity to experience the latest innovation when ROVR will be in the focus area by bringing the latest oil which is PETRONAS Primax95.

Also present were representatives of the Sebuyau District Officer Melor Buyong and general manager of the Sebuyau Area Fishermen’s Association Hepni Anggon.
