Serba Dinamik donates 2,000 food packs

BINTULU: Two thousand food packs were donated by Serba Dinamik to 11 areas in this district yesterday. The recipients were needy households affected by the movement control order (MCO) following the Covid-19 outbreak.

Serba Dinamik director Datuk Abdul Kadier Sahib said the food packs were distributed by two non-governmental organisations (NGOs) -Sukarelawan Hikmah Bintulu assisted by Jabatan Agama Islam (Bintulu) and Skuad Prihatin Berkhidmat Berbakti.

“The recipients are villagers in Kampung Tanjong Batu, Kampung Asyikirin, Kampung Jabai, Kidurong, Batu 10 Jalan Bintulu-Miri, Bintulu Proper, Jepak, Kuala Tatau, Labang, Sebauh and Pandang.

“This is part of our initiative to supplement the state government’s effort to help the population during this challenging time,” he told a press conference.

Abdul Kadier also revealed that all 380 daily wagers under Serba Dinamik would be receiving food packs in stages.

NGOs getting ready to distribute the food pack to the needy households.
