KUCHING: Singapore’s High Commissioner to Malaysia, Vanu Gopala Menon paid a courtesy call to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa, yesterday (Nov 10).
This is a follow-up to his previous visit in 2019 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and he took the opportunity to visit Sarawak once the border reopens.
During the visit, Vanu Gopala and Abang Johari discussed current issues, economic affairs, especially from the aspects of tourism and new investment opportunities in Sarawak.
After the meeting, Vanu Gopala expressed confidence that the bilateral relations and cooperation between Singapore and Sarawak would grow stronger.
