Sink hole filled up, road resurfaced

KUCHING: Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by an individual from Kota Sentosa Bazaar near here during SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch weekly mobile service who informed Yap of a sink hole at a road behind the Kota Sentosa Commercial area which was getting bigger and endangering road users.

Following the notification and request for assistance Wilfred Yap immediately informed the Engineering Section of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and its officers immediately went to inspect the spot. During the inspection, MPP officers discovered that the sink hole was more than 13 feet long.

Wilfred Yap was pleased to inform that MPP contractor has filled up the sink hole and resurfaced the affected area. He also thanked MPP engineering section for their speedy and prompt action in solving the matter.
