MALAYSIA’S No 1 singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza aims to open her own gallery to preserve the ‘memento’ of her artistic accomplishments along with important matters throughout her career as a singer.
According to a local entertainment portal Gempak, Siti said despite the fact that the idea of establishing a gallery has been brewing for quite some time, there has been no serious discussion between her and the management.
“To be honest, having my own gallery has long been a dream of mine. I’ve been voicing out this idea to Rozi, but there has been no serious discussion among the management.
“Furthermore, the location of the gallery that I want to establish has yet to be determined.
“It is likely that it will be set up in my village in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, or in Kuala Lumpur,” she said.
The “Romansa Kita” singer said that with the establishment of the gallery, fans and the general public may get to know her more and learn about her musical journey.
“In addition to getting to know me personally, through the gallery, people can have a closer look at my professional life.
“This is because the gallery will feature facts and collections of items related to my career. It can also be used as a source of reference,” she added.
Siti noted that she plans to establish the gallery without relying on anyone.
“I wish to set up the gallery on my own initiative. It will be the most meaningful thing in my life,” she said.
