MALAYSIA’S No. 1 singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, recently addressed the lack of promotion for her new album “Sitism”, where she explained that it was not that she didn’t want to promote the album, but rather that the time was not right for her to do so.

The 44-year-old songbird posted on X, where she wrote, “Please be patient. We have our brothers and sisters in Palestine who need help more.”

Siti has been busy working with her Nurjiwa Foundation to send aid to the people in both Gaza and the West Bank, from promoting her relief fund to working with big names to get more financial aid for her cause.

The singer, who previously planned to hold a large-scale concert, has also postponed the project for another kind of charity concert next March.

“Sitism”, which was released in September, contained eight songs from various big-name composers, including Aubrey Suwito, Melly Goeslaw and Tomok.
