SK Batu 36 gets RM3,000 funding from Selangau MP

SIBU: SK Batu 36 received a total of RM3,000 from Selangau MP Edwin Banta for its study tour programmes.

The cheque was presented by his special officer Jefri Ngelambai on Friday (Jan 27).

The money is intended to cover the expenses of Year 6 students for a study tour programme to several places in Mukah such as University of Technology Mara (UiTM) Mukah, the ‘Sapan Puluh’ Museum, and the new Mukah airport.

Also included in the programme are ‘Kem Bina Insan’ and sports activities, which will take place at Kingwood Resort Mukah.

SK Batu 36 headmaster Alas Rambli expressed his thanks, adding: “It (the programme) will be a two-day study tour from Feb 7 to 8. A total of 51 Year 6 students will participate, supervised by six teachers.”
