Soon Koh contributes rice mill machine, generator to two longhouses

SIBU: Two longhouses in Bawang Assan constituency received a rice milling machine and a generator worth RM10,000 from Bawang Assan State Assemblyman Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh.

The recipients are Rumah Unjah Besh in Sungai Melanggan which received the rice milling machine and Rumah Suda Majoi at Sibu-Tanjung Manis Road which received the generator.

United People’s Party (UPP) Bawang Assan Bumiputera Unit chief Andrew Shilling, who represented Dato Sri Wong, handed over the items respectively to Tuai Rumah Unjah Besh and Tuai Rumah Suda Majoi, witnessed by  Penghulu Jeffery Sut.

According to Andrew, these contributions from Wong shows  his concern as a people’s representative for Bawang Assan constituency.

He said the contributions would benefit the residents of 52-door Rumah Unjah and 25-door Rumah Suda.
