TEBEDU: The establishment of Sarawak’s Sovereign Wealth Fund will bring many benefits especially for future generations.

According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada said the funds would definitely be kept for the future of the younger generation as well as to be used for the expenses of managing Sarawak in the future.

He explained that the establishment of this fund proved the ability of the Sarawak government which has a vision and mission to guarantee the future of the people of this state.

“Therefore, I hope that this fund will also help the children of Sarawak to continue their education for free,” he said during the Christmas Gathering 2022 programme at Rumah Panjang Kampung Daha Kisau here on yesterday (Dec 10)

The programme in conjunction with Christmas was organised by the Tebedu Constituency Saberkas Unit in collaboration with the Daha Kisau Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and WaiFM Bidayuh from Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM).
