MATU: A programme called `Berambeh Samah-Samah Telo Jipo-Jipo II’ will be held at Sekaan Besar Matu tonight (Friday 8 September).
According to the programme’s spokesman Haji Abang Ikhsan, the gathering would be held at Kampung Muut.
“This is the second of such feast to be organised by Saberkas Jemoreng Branch and we have decided to hold it at the compound of the residence of Haji Hasanal Haji Amir,” he said.
He added, among the activities of the night would be karaoke singing, poco-poco dance, zumba dance and lucky draw tickets.
The guest of honour of the auspicious occasion is Political Secretary to the Chief Minister who SABERKAS Jemoreng Branch Chairman, Abu Seman Jahwie.
Abu, who is also State SABERKA Deputy Secretary General, is also expected to speak at the event.
“It is hoped that the people from the area would come in full force to add further merriment to the occasion,” disclosed Ikhsan.
The first of such programme held recently was the feast with the contestants of Independence Queen.
