KUCHING: Following the enchanting Christmas tree lighting ceremony of ‘Wonkaful Christmas’ at The Spring Shopping Mall, the festivities continue to unfold with a heart-warming corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative titled ‘The Sweetness of Giving’.

In collaborating with Hope Place Kuching and in the celebrating the NGO’s 10th anniversary, the Spring together with PE Holdings, spread the magic of the season by organising a special day out for 24 underprivileged families with more than 70 children, aged between four and 17 last weekend.

Out of these 24 unprivileged families, 20 families are of single parents with young and schooling kids, all under the care and support of Hope Place.

During the event, families were treated to a delightful Christmas buffet spread sponsored by The Spring FoodBazaar.

Additionally, each child walked home with a goodie bags filled with treats and vouchers to redeem sweet delights from Aqua S & Beez Gelato, while parents received a dessert box from Taka Patisserie.
