KUALA LUMPUR: The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) will replace the Business Registration Certificate of business owners that were destroyed due to the floods free of charge.

Minister of Domestic Trade and Living Costs Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub said this after handing over the Wakalah Zakat Korporat SSM in the form of basic necessities to three temporary evacuation centres (PPS) around Batu Pahat, Johore today.

Basic necessities in the form of dry food, mineral water and hygiene kits were forwarded to the KPDN Foodbank to be distributed together while Salahuddin greeted the flood victims at PPS SK Sri Binjai, SK Banyu Mas and Dewan Orang Ramai Pekan Parit Yaani.

Also present were Deputy Secretary General (Domestic Trade Development) KPDN Datuk Roziah Abudin and SSM Johore Director Azrin Mohd Ripin.
