KUCHING: The Sarawak Transformation and Innovation Unit (STIU), along with all Resident and District Officers in Sarawak have successfully obtained the MS ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Administrative Division.
The MS ISO 9001:2015 certificate was presented by the Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz during the SIRIM Industry 2023 event in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
The event was also attended by Deputy State Secretary (Operations) Datuk Hii Chang Kee.
The Sarawak Unit Communication Unit (UKAS) reported that the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) has become one of the first agencies in Sarawak to be awarded the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification by the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).
In addition, SIRIM QAS International has recognised and awarded certificates to 910 organisations from various industries and the public sector for various services, as well as more than 1,500 products under the SIRIM QAS Product Certification and Management System Certification Scheme.
